Μετα απο τα δύο Sessions του Νοεμβρίου το Irie Action επιστρέφει στον εσωτερικό χώρο του θεάτρου Χυτήριο Theatre – Σημείο Πολιτισμούέχοντας καλεσμένους τους Roots Attack Label& Sound System απο την πρωτεύουσα της Γαλλίας.

☆Roots Attack Label& Sound System☆
Οι Roots Attack είναι μια Γαλλική Κολεκτίβα που γεννήθηκε το 2010 απο τον Jeremie Jeh Jeh Clergue, δημιουργόντας την απο το δικό του στούντιο ηχογράφησης: The Honey Studio. Ύστερα απο δέκα χρόνια σαν μουσικός (κιθάρα, μπάσο πλήκτρα) ο Jeh ξεκινάει την παραγωγή μουσικής αποσκοπώντας στην ανάπτυξη ενός Roots ήχου εμπνευσμένου από την χρυσή εποχή της Τζαμαικάνικης Reggae. Μετά απο αρκετές ηχογραφήσεις και ρυθμικά κομμάτια, ήρθε η ιδέα να δημιουργηθεί ένα LP. H συνάντηση με τον Winston Mc Anuff και η συνέχεια με Leroy Brown ήτανε καθοριστική. Οι δύο βετεράνοι εμπλούτισαν με στίχους τα τραγούδια. Η επόμενη συνάντηση δεν άργησε να έρθει, αυτη την φορά με τον Easton Clarke και με τον Nereus Joseph οπου και συμπηρώσανε έξοχα το έργο <<Showcase Volume 1>>.
Το 2012 o μπαρουτοκαπνισμένος IFi Roots Attack μπήκε στο Roots Attack. Το εξερετικό ‘’RUB A DUB’’ ύφος του ταίριαξε απόλυτα με τις παραγωγές του Roots Attack οπου έρχεται για να σφραγίζει τα κομμάτια του LP.
Η ομάδα μεγάλωσε κιάλλο το 2015 όπου συγχρόνως το Roots Attack Label πήρε σάρκα και οστά ως μέσο για να εξασφαλίσουν πλήρεις και ανεξάρτητες τις μουσικές παραγωγές τους. Το LP <<Showcase Volume 1>> κυκλοφορεί επίσημα τον Απρίλη του 2016. Συγχρόνως γίνονται και οι παραγωγές 12’’ inch βινυλίων σε συνεργασία με τους Viceroys, Sista Jahan …
Ταυτόχρονα O IFi με τον Jeh ξεκινάνε να στήνουνε το δικό τους Sound System μένοντας πιστοί στην Τζαμαικάνικη παράδοση των Sound Systems. Με αυτόν τον τρόπο τρέχουνε δυναμικα τα Live Sessions τους παίρνοντας δύναμη απο τις ρίζες της Reggae Μουσικής και της ισχυρές αξίες όπως ο σεβασμός , η πνευματική άνθηση και η παγκόσμια αγάπη.

☆Roots Attack Label& Sound System☆
Roots Attack is a french collective created in 2010 by Jérémie »Jeh Jeh» Clergue, operating from his own recording studio: the Honey Studio. After over 10 years as a musician (guitar, bass guitar, keyboards and composition), Jeh launches into music production, aiming to develop a roots sound inspired by the golden age of jamaican reggae. After many records of rythm tracks in the studio, the idea cames to produce an album.
Meeting Winston Mc Anuff and then Leroy Brown was decisive. The two veterans wrote fine lyrics on some of the riddims freshly recorded. Next meeeting with Easton Clarke and Nereus Joseph brilliantly complement the project « Showcase Volume 1 ». In 2012 IFi Roots Attack joined Roots Attack. On the strength of its experience with Hi Fi Experience (sound operator, rythm maker and producer since 2005), it is yet his DJ skills (in the jamaican sense, equivalent of MC) he brings to the collective. His typical “rub a dub style” perfectly fits on Roots Attack’s productions and seals the list of singers on the album, Jeh punctuating the album with dub versions.
The collective extended in 2015 and the Roots Attack label finally came to life as a medium to ensure complete independent musical productions.
The “Showcase Volume 1” LP (April 2016) constitutes its first release. Many productions are still in production: a 12inch release (starring The Viceroys, Sista Jahan … ), a one-riddim album, a EP series (I Fi, Twan Tee) and much more.
Simultaneously I Fi & Jeh set up the Roots Attack sound system. Selecting maxis, LPs and 7” records, they evolve through ska from the 60’s, roots reggae from the 70’s, digitals from the 80’s and current stepper dub. They also play their own productions featuring reggae legends (The Viceroys, Winston McAnuff, Vernon Maytone…) and young local singers (Twan Tee, Sista Jahan, Junior Roy…). In 2016 they built their own system, truthfull to the Jamaican and English sound system tradition.
They drive their live session in a dynamic way, drawing its strenght from the roots of reggae music and its strong values such as respect, spiritual uplifment and universal love.

Με κοινή βάση την αγάπη για τη ρέγκε μουσική και επηρεαζόμενοι από την Τζαμαικάνικη κουλτούρα των Soundsystems ξεκινήσαμε το 2005 σαν URM με μέλη τους Man’O, Oldjohn, Nesco. Έχοντας δημιουργήσει ένα μικρό ηχοσύστημα κάναμε τις πρώτες μας βραδυές στην πολυτεχνειούπολη. Στην συνέχεια έχοντας μπει στο 2009 σαν Irie Action πλέον, και με την προσθήκη του Soundman ενισχύσαμε βήμα βήμα τον ήχο για να μπορούμε να καλύψουμε τις ανάγκες μεγαλύτερων χώρων κάνοντας και κάποιες βραδυές με καλλιτέχνες από Ευρώπη και Τζαμάικα (Uwe Banton, Earl Sixteen, U-Brown, Ras Daniel Ray, Marlene Johnson, Ηorace Martin, King Shiloh). Μέσα στο 2009-2010 κυκλοφορήσαμε σαν Irie Action δύο βινύλια σε συνεργασία με τους Ranking Joe, Ranking Trevor, Fitta Warri, Earl Zero, Ranking Forest.
Μέχρι σήμερα συνεχίζουμε εξελιχτικά να κάνουμε Reggae/Dub βραδυές με βασικό κορμό τους OldJohn, Nesco, Rudie Mood, Little Stranger.

With common base the love for Reggae music and influenced by the Culture of Jamaican Soundsystems started in 2005 as URM with members Man’O, Oldjohn, Nesco. Having built a small sound system did our first nights on campus. Then having come in 2009 as Irie Action and with the add of Soundman we strengthened step by step the sound to be able to cover the largest space needs and also doing some nights with artists from Europe and Jamaica (Uwe Banton, Earl Sixteen, U-Brown , Ras Daniel Ray, Marlene Johnson, Horace Martin, King Shiloh). During 2009-2010 released two vinyls as Irie Action in cooperation with Ranking Joe, Ranking Trevor, Fitta Warri, Earl Zero, Ranking Forest. Today we continue to Do The Reggae with core OldJohn, Nesco, Rudie Mood, Little Stranger.
